# Widget

### Overview

Widgets in the Dashboard are charts used to visualize metrics or logs information. They can display information such as charts and reports.

### Create a Widget

For each type of data metric and logs, we support the following types of charts. Click on each type to see the details of how to create a corresponding Widget.

### Edit a Widget

You have created a Widget on a Dashboard. Currently, this Widget does not meet your data display requirements. You can edit the Widget. To edit the Widget in the Dashboard, follow the instructions below:

1. Login into vMonitor Platform.
2. Select the menu **Dashboard.**
3. Select **Dashboard** includes **Widget** which you want to edit.

5. Adjust the parameters for the chart as you wish. The parameters you can modify include: **Graph style**, **Graph your data**, **Fixed time range**, **Configure graph attributes**. This adjustment process is similar to creating a new Widget.
6. Select **Save.**

### Delete a Widget

You have created a Widget on a Dashboard. Currently, you do not need this Widget anymore, you can remove it from your Dashboard. To remove a Widget from the Dashboard, follow the instructions below:

1. Login into vMonitor Platform.
2. Select the menu **Dashboard.**
3. Select **Dashboard** includes Widget which you wanna delete.

5. Select **Delete**.
6. On the Widget deletion confirmation screen, select **Delete**.

The widget has been removed from your Dashboard as well as from our system. If you no longer need the Dashboard that contained the removed widget, please proceed to delete the Dashboard.

### Export data from Widget

To download data from a Widget in CSV format, follow the instructions below:

1. Login into vMonitor Platform.
2. Select the menu **Dashboard.**
3. Select **Dashboard** includes Widget which you wanna export data.
4. On **Widget** which you wanna export data, select **Export Table.**
5. Select **Export as CSV**.
