Increase Number of Nodes

In the GreenNode vDB OpenSearch service, you can easily expand the number of nodes to enhance performance and load capacity. Currently, we only support increasing nodes and do not yet support decreasing nodes.

To increase the number of nodes for an OpenSearch Cluster, you can:

Step 1: Access https://vdb.console.vngcloud.vn/

Step 2: Select Cluster under the OpenSearch section

Step 3: Select the icon on the cluster where you want to increase nodes, then select the action Resize Number of Nodes.

Step 4: The Resize Number of Nodes screen is displayed. Select the number of nodes you want to add to the cluster.

Step 5: Select Resize and complete the payment steps (if any) if you are a prepaid user.

After you have successfully completed the steps above, the new total number of nodes after the change will be updated on the general information of the cluster you selected.
