# Increase/Decrease Node Disk Size

In the **GreenNode** **vDB OpenSearch** service, you can easily adjust **Node Storage Size** to optimize storage capacity and ensure system performance. **Currently, we only support increasing storage size** when there is a need to expand.

To increase storage size for nodes in an OpenSearch Cluster, you can:

**Step 1:** Access <https://vdb.console.vngcloud.vn/>

**Step 2:** Select **Cluster** under the **OpenSearch** section

**Step 3:** Select the icon <img src="https://docs.vngcloud.vn/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3672463924-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FB0NrrrdJdpYOYzRkbWp5%252Fuploads%252FrxitUMM9JIncMgn4JDAK%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3D7baaf770-23ce-478c-816f-bd324ab4ddee&#x26;width=27&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=5b654b0&#x26;sv=1" alt="" data-size="line"> on the cluster where you want to resize storage, then select the action **Resize Node Storage size**

**Step 4:** The **Resize Node Storage size** screen is displayed. Select the storage size you want to use for the node or enter the desired capacity **(GB)** for the node.

**Step 5:** Select **Resize** to confirm the request. If you are a prepaid user, the system will display the next payment steps.

After completing the steps above, the new storage size will be updated on the node and applied immediately.
